Privacy policy

Short version: this is a pile of static files. No analytics, no cookies, no account system, no database, and nothing you pick in a tool is sent anywhere.

Revised 2026-08-23 Speccue Reference Desk

What we do not collect

This is a purely static site. Specifically:

  • No analytics or measurement code. No third-party analytics service is embedded. We do not know which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, or where you came from.
  • No cookies. This site writes no cookies, which is also why there is no cookie consent banner.
  • No account system. There is nothing to register or log in to, so there is no user profile to speak of.
  • No form submissions. No form on this site sends data to a server. The tool pages are entirely front-end.
  • No ad networks, pixels or tracking scripts.
  • No third-party fonts or external resources. Pages use system fonts, and all styles, scripts and images load from this site's own domain, so browsing here does not cause your browser to contact a third party.

These are not promises but checkable facts: view the page source, or open your browser's network panel, and you can confirm every line above yourself.

How the tools handle your input

The tools on this site run in your browser.

The options you tick and the filters you switch exist only in the current page's memory. They are not sent to a server, not written to cookies or local storage, and not retained after a refresh. Close the tab and it is gone.

The referral code copy button on the homepage calls your browser's clipboard interface to place a fixed string in your clipboard. That action happens entirely on your device.

Server and CDN

As with any website, the servers and content delivery network that bring these pages to you necessarily process connection information (such as IP address, request time and browser identifier) to deliver content, maintain availability and defend against attacks. This processing is technically necessary to run a website. We do not extract, analyse or retain that data for identifying individuals, and we do not use it for profiling or advertising.

These services are operated by third-party infrastructure providers under their own data-processing policies.

Third parties

This site links to third-party websites (exchange pages, technical specifications and similar). Only after you actively click does your browser contact those sites, at which point their own privacy policies apply.

One of those links carries this site's referral code and sits inside the account-opening guide; the commercial arrangement is set out on the disclosure page. That link tells the exchange the registration came from this site. Beyond that we receive no personal information about you and cannot see your account, balance or trades.

Screenshots embedded in pages are image files stored on this site, not loaded live from the sites pictured, so viewing them sends no request to those sites.

Your rights

Under most data protection regimes, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability over your personal data.

As regards this site: because we collect and store no data that identifies you, we hold nothing of yours to access, rectify or erase. If you wish to raise a question about this, the route is on the contact page.

For the technical processing that happens at the server and CDN layer, those rights would need to be asserted with the relevant infrastructure providers.

Changes to this policy

If this site ever introduces a feature that changes any of the above — adding analytics, say, or a form — this page will be updated first, and the change will also be logged in the corrections record.

The last revision date for this page appears under the title.
